Trials for state-level games to begin on October 7

The state-level games under ‘Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan’ in Gymnastics will be held in Patiala from November 4 to 9 in the age groups of U-14, 17, 21, 21-30 and 31-40. Giving more information in this regard, District Sports Officer Gurpreet Singh said the selection of the gymnastics team for the district would be done on the basis of trials at the sports school gymnastics hall, Kapurthala road.

He further said the state-level Wushu event would be organised in Sangrur from November 16 to 21, while Taekwondo games would be held in Faridkot from November 19 to 24.

He said Wushu trials for all age groups would be held on October 7 and 8 and Taekwondo trials would be held on October 14 at Jalandhar Indoor Stadium.

Shooting event would be held in Mohali from October 19 to 24 for U-14, 17, 21, 21- 30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70 and above 70 age group categories. The trials for the same would be held on October 8 and 9, he said.
