The Jalandhar police have arrested two persons with 30 grams of heroin.

Jalandhar Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma said acting on a tip-off, they had laid a naka at Y-point in Bhagat Singh Colony and spotted two individuals in a suspicious condition.

He said after thorough search, the police seized 30 grams of heroin from the possession of Lovepreet Singh, alias Love, of Puhla village of Tarn Taran and Navtej Singh, alias Nav, of Amishah village of Tarn Taran. He said a case had been registered under Sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act.
