The Jalandhar Rural Police arrested two wanted criminals. The arrests were conducted under the supervision of SSP Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh.

The accused have been identified as Baljinder Singh, alias Baljinder of village Bangiwal Khurd, Mehatpur, and Sukha Singh of village Pakhowal, Kapurthala.

SSP Khakh said these arrests were a significant achievement in the ongoing battle against criminals in the region. The operations demonstrated the unwavering commitment of the police to maintain law and order.

The operations were meticulously planned and executed by a specialised team comprising Jasroop Kaur Bath, SP, Investigation; Sukhpal Singh, DSP, Nakodar; and Inspector Aman Saini, SHO, Nakodar.

The first operation targeted Baljinder Singh, who was apprehended at Nurmahal Chowk, Nakodar, on precise intelligence inputs. The second operation led to the arrest of Sukha Singh in connection with electric wire theft from an agricultural land on Kular Road.

Baljinder Singh was wanted in a case registered on August 24, 2019, and Sukha Singh was arrested in connection with a case registered on June 5 this year.
