The Commissionerate Police, Jalandhar, arrested two men in connection with a recent snatching incident, recovered a stolen gold chain, seized sharp-edged weapons and impounded a car used in the crime.

Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur said the case was registered on April 16 at Sadar police station, following a complaint by Divya Kohli of GTB Nagar. Kohli reported that she and her son, Parath Kohli, were returning from Hamilton Mayfair Flats after a property visit when a white car intercepted their vehicle. Three men inside the car threatened them and forcibly snatched a gold chain from her son.
