Two nambardars, deed writer held, 2 others booked for fraud

Shahkot Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Onkar Singh Brar said that the accused had been identified as nambardar Hans Raj, son of Munshi, a resident of Mohalla Bagh Wala, Shahkot; nambardar Paramjit, son of Buta Ram, a resident of Haji Pur village, and deed writer Raj Kumar, son of Sadhu Ram, a resident of Mohalla Bawian, Shahkot.
UK-based NRI Narindar Singh Jheeta, a resident of Shahkot, complained to the Jalandhar (Rural) SSP that the accused and their accomplices hatched a conspiracy and prepared a fake agreement to usurp 12.3 marlas belonging to his late father Ajit Singh, in Mohalla Bawian and in Lal Lakir and committed an act of fraud.
The DSP said that a case under Sections 420 (cheating), 465, 467, 468, 471 (fraud), 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and 193 (false evidence in a judicial proceeding and the fabrication of false evidence for use in a judicial proceeding) of the BNS and Section 82 of the Registration Act, 1908 had been registered against Hardeep Singh, son of Kartar Singh of Banga village in Shahkot, and Sanjiv Kumar, son of Kewal Krishan of Rishi Nagar, Shahkot, who are absconding.
