The Bilga police have arrested two travel agents for duping man of Rs 5.56 lakh on the pretext of sending him abroad. Phillaur DSP Swaran Jeet Singh said the accused were identified as Gurcharan Singhof Mehatpur village and Tarsem Lal, alias Som Nath, of Sekhupur village.

He said Rajwinder Kumarof Mehsampur village had complained to Jalandhar (Rural) SSP that he had paid Rs 5.56 lakh to the accused for facilitating his migration to Denmark. However, they neither sent him abroad nor returned his money. The DSP said a case was registered against the accused in this connection.
