During discussions, Som Parkash highlighted several pressing infrastructure concerns in the constituency. Som Parkash further urged the minister to expedite work on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur four-lane road, which has been progressing slowly, and to ensure early completion of the planned bypasses at Bhogpur, Dasuya, and Mukerian.

Minister Malhotra personally visited the Sugar Mill Chowk in Phagwara to assess the situation. He assured residents that all listed projects would be fast-tracked and completed soon for the benefit of the region's population.
