In collaboration with the Water Resources Department, Chandigarh, a seminar on save groundwater was organised in Rayat Bahra Education City. Experts from the Department of Water Resources, Ministry of Jal Shakti, participated in the seminar and discussed ways to protect and conserve groundwater.

Dinesh Tiwari said, “The groundwater problem is in a serious situation, which everyone has to deal with cooperatively.” Scientist Aditya Sharma apprised everyone about the condition of Punjab’s groundwater. He said we should adopt modern technology and reduce the comsumption of groundwater in farming. Sunil Kumar gave detailed information about the geography of India’s groundwater status and its utilisation.
