Students performed folk dances, music and fine arts presentations, displaying a vibrant cultural heterogeneity. While the festival was enjoyed by all, its special significance as a celebration for women made it particularly meaningful for the girl students, who enthusiastically took part in Gidha, applied Mehandi, enjoyed traditional swings and relished maal puas.

Importantly, the event also conveyed a strong message on the urgent need for environmental protection as a pathway to peaceful and sustainable living. The Chief Guest, along with other dignitaries, planted tree saplings within the college campus, reinforcing the importance of green practices. Banners featuring plantation-themed drawings were also displayed to spread awareness about eco-friendly living.

In her address, Dr Randhawa emphasised that festivals are not only occasions of joy but also a means of preserving cultural continuity and nurturing the deep-rooted bonds of human connection. She further stressed the importance of the judicious use of natural resources to ensure the sustainability of the environment.
