CT Group of Institutions, in collaboration with the district administration, Jalandhar, organised a vibrant Weekend of Wellness at Shivani Park, Model Town, last evening promoting the state-wide campaign Yudh Nashian Virudh aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse and encouraging a healthier lifestyle.

The community-centric wellness event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, youth, families, and senior citizens from nearby localities. The event featured a mix of outdoor fitness sessions, recreational games, dance activities and thought-provoking engagement tasks, all designed to promote physical well-being and strengthen community bonding.

Adding energy to the program, Rajan Syal from Team Parindey captivated the audience with his high-spirited crowd engagement and interactive activities, keeping participants motivated throughout. A tree plantation drive was also organised as a symbolic commitment to nurturing a healthy, addiction-free society.

The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Dr Himanshu Aggarwal as the chief guest. He appreciated the event stating, “Such initiatives play a crucial role in bringing communities together and spreading awareness against drug abuse. Wellness is not just physical— it is a collective responsibility towards building a healthier society.”
