Police officials, led by ASI Sukhwinder Singh from Satnampura Police Station, arrived at the location and began their investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that Sushma and her husband, Ram Lagan, had a history of frequent quarrels. The accused is said to have restricted his wife from working and struggled with unemployment and mental health issues.

The fatal incident occurred during an argument last night, where Ram Lagan allegedly pushed Sushma, causing her to fall and hit her head on the floor, resulting in fatal injuries.

The body was sent to Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination before being returned to the family. Police have registered a case against Ram Lagan in connection with the incident.
