A woman was killed and three of her relatives were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a car and a Punjab Roadways bus near Tutomjara village on the Chandigarh-Hoshiarpur main road on Saturday.

Those travelling in the car were going to Sri Kiratpur Sahib to immerse the ashes of a relative.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
