Similarly, Anjali Seemar, a BA-1 student of Government College, performed brilliantly while playing for Punjab Under-19 T-20, Punjab Under-19 and Under-23 one-day team, for Panjab University team and also for Punjab.

SD College’s BA-2 student Shivani had made her place in Punjab’s Under-23 T-20 team this year and also made her place in Panjab University team, thus making Hoshiarpur proud at the national level as well as in Punjab. Dr Ghai said that on returning to Hoshiarpur today, these players were specially felicitated under the leadership of HDCA president Dr Daljit Khela.

Tournament Committee chairman Dr Pankaj Shiv and Vivek Sahni also congratulated the players and said coach Davinder Kalyan’s hard work made this possible.
