Jalandhar, November 18

On the third day of the ongoing Inter-zonal Youth Festival being held at Lyallpur Khalsa College, various events like giddha, mime, costume parade, one-act play, quiz (preliminary and final) were held on Monday. Students in a large number participated and showcased their talent.

Gurpreet Singh Bhullar (IPS), Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, was present as the chief guest. Sardarni Balbir Kaur, president, governing council and principal Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra welcomed the guests and honoured them with mementoes.

The principal said the college was committed to the holistic development of the students by imparting the launching pad of youth festivals at universties or colleges.

In Giddha, KMV, Jalandhar, bagged the first position. HMV, Jalandhar, won the second position, while Apeejay, Jalandhar stod third.

In mime, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, bagged the first position. BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, won the second position. Apeejay, Jalandhar, and GN College, Batala, jointly bagged the third position.

In costume parade, BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, bagged the first position. Apeejay College, Jalandhar, won the second position, while PCMSD College, Jalandhar, and DAV College, Jalandhar, stood third.

In quiz, HMV, Jalandhar, won the first position. BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, bagged the second position. DAV College, Jalandhar, won the third position.
