A 29-year-old youth, resident of Mohalla Ravidas Nagar in Adamwal village, was found dead 15 days ago.

Now, the postmortem report has revealed that he had not consumed any drugs, but had died having sustained injuries to his head and shoulders.

In this regard, an ASI of the Sadar Police Station said that Sandeep Kumar, son of Surinderpal, had filed a complaint stating that his younger brother Sukhwinder Kumar (29), who was a labourer, had left home for the city at 6.30 pm for some work but did not return. He said that on the morning of September 12, his body was found lying in a drain near a private factory at Chauhal village.

The body was handed over to the kin after the postmortem. Action was taken under Section 194 of the BNS, but the case was revised according to the postmortem report.
