Who can join: Candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in sales of various pharmaceutical products like medicines, cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals, surgical devices, machines, and equipment used in surgeries, also in FMCG and e-commerce may consider pursuing this course.

Working professionals in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Devices sector may also pursue this course for further career progression.

Objective of the Course: The course has been customised keeping in mind healthcare, pharmaceutical, and FMCG industry-specific dynamics to fulfil the objectives given below:

a) To learn to manage various activities, including advertising, sales promotion, marketing research, physical distribution, pricing, and product merchandising.

 b) To develop skills required in planning, direction, and control of the personnel, selling activities of a business unit, including recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, rating, supervising, paying, and motivating.

c) To develop skills for a long-term relationship with the customer and skills to manage their “territories” as if they were running their own business.

Educational Qualification: Students pursuing graduation in any discipline, preferably in Life Sciences / BPharm / MPharm. / MBA and DPharm.

Assessment and Certification:

a) Assessment as per NSDF guidelines

b) Certiffication by NSQF, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India and Apeejay Stya University
