The written examination for the post of fisheries officer in the Fisheries Department would be conducted on July 25, said Chairman, Subordinate Services Selection Board Raman Behl.

He said elaborate arrangements had been made for the examination. The board would use jammers, biometrics, videography, etc. during the examination while adhering to the policy of transparency.

He said after scrutiny of documents during counselling of successful candidates, the recommendations of eligible candidates would be forwarded to the department for issuance of appointment letters.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
