Rishi Kapoor was shooting for Sharmaji Namkeen before the lockdown. The actor’s sudden demise has left the film incomplete, however, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have decided to complete it and schedule its release in cinema halls. The film stars Rishi Kapoor and Juhi Chawla. It was almost complete with just a couple of days of shoot remaining. A source shared, “Rishi Kapoor was the main protagonist of the film and a major part of it was already shot with only a few days of shooting remaining for the actor.” The source added, “Since Rishi Kapoor’s last project was near completion, Ritesh and Farhan are determined to make sure that the film gets released.”
