Renowned director and producer Prakash Jha has announced the launch of ‘Chhupe Rustam’, an app that scouts for talent through simple sharing of videos. Said Prakash Jha, “This app can help those who are into 9-5 jobs and cannot stand in long queues for auditions, but are extremely talented. Moreover, in smaller towns, young talent strives for a sustainable income. Travelling all the way to Mumbai without a back-up is not easy.”

He added, “Interestingly, rural India also a lot of talent that can rise to fame if given a chance. But sadly, dreams and aspirations often die due to lack of a relevant platform. On this app, people can share videos and be noticed by production houses as well as directors.”
