The movie happens to be the Bollywood remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. While the project has been the talk of the town since its inception, Aamir recently added to the buzz after he unveiled the teaser poster, followed by his look from the movie. The actor will be playing the role of a Sikh in the film and sport a turban.
The movie is currently under production and is being shot in Punjab. While Aamir is busy shooting, he recently visited Guru Bhatta Sahib in Punjab’s Ropar district to seek blessings. Dressed in an off-white shirt, Aamir was seen in his Laal Singh Chaddha look with a heavy beard. The star was also honoured with a siropa (an honorary piece of cloth) by the gurdwara management there.
The movie, which is scheduled to release on Christmas 2020, will mark Aamir and Kareena’s third collaboration after 3 Idiots and Talaash. It is being helmed by Advait Chandan.
