n Singer-actress Beyonce Knowles is being slammed in the virtual world for failing to give actor Joaquin Phoenix standing ovation after his Golden Globe win.

n Phoenix won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his portrayal of the mentally unstable loner Arthur Fleck in comic book drama Joker.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
