In the series, she plays the female lead’s mother, a role she’s thrilled to bring to life on screen. Bhawana shared, “My last substantial show was Dheere Dheere Se on Star Bharat, where I played Vidya chachi, a character that brought me a lot of recognition. Then I did Shrimad Ramayan, portraying Sumitra Rani. Dheere Dheere Se was especially close to my heart, as it truly helped establish me in the industry.”

Discussing her role and the show’s title, Bhawana added, “Deewaniyat is a term you don’t often hear in daily life. I’m excited about the show, where I’ll play the heroine’s mother, Geeta Malik. She is a traditional Haryanvi woman, a loving mother and a caring wife. I’m thrilled to explore this character and bring her story to the audience.”
