STRAP: Anupama Pathak’s body found inside her flat in Mumbai

Anupama Pathak, who had been part of TV shows and Bhojpuri films, was found dead at her Dahisar flat in Mumbai on Thursday. She was 40. Preliminary investigations suggested that she committed suicide three-four days back. Last week, Anupama had gone live on Facebook and had shared that she was facing financial issues, and had been cheated by a friend.

In the video, she spoke about trust issues and not having friends who could be of help. The news of Anupama’s death comes just a day after television actor Sameer Sharma was found hanging at his residence. Earlier in May, TV actor Manmeet Grewal had committed suicide at his Mumbai home.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
