When you move away from home, cooking is a big task, and you cannot always rely on chips and maggie.  The problem arises when you finally try to prepare a home-cooked food for yourself.

Understanding the difference between several dals could be very confusing, particularly because they all look very similar.  

Recently, an IPS Officer Dipanshu Kabra posted a picture which has different types of dals in a copy and captioned with their names. 

“A mother made this for her son who is getting married soon,” he tweeted.

 According to his tweet, the desi mom created this chart for her soon-to-be-married son, so that he has no trouble buying groceries. 

This post initiated a meaningful conversation—attracting over 1000 comments.  

The viral photo left netizens praising the desi mom for her “great training”. Several stated how everybody could be taught this irrespective of gender.
