Fatima Sana Shaikh directs music video

Dangalfame actress Fatima Sana Shaikh has multiple projects in the pipeline. She has been spending the lockdown period working on her skills and reading online. And now, we hear that Fatima will be directing Vishal Bhardwaj’s music video titled Palkein Kholo in which she is acting as well. The song is a poem by celebrated poet Bashir Badr. Fatima didn’t just use a static camera to shoot herself, but directed herself in a beautifully crafted video.

Fatima said, “The song is about appreciating people around us during these unprecedented times. I’ve been pestering Vishal sir to make a film with me and when he made me this offer, I jumped at it.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
