Entertainment happened by chance. I got through engineering and architecture courses, but my father was the one who asked me to pursue advertising, which was a vocational course at Delhi University. Later, I went to Symbiosis Mass Communication School and there has been no looking back.

Balaji Telefilms was all thanks to Anil V Kumar and Vandana. I worked on shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi with them. It was a great learning experience.

I worked at Balaji for 15 years and left it to become an independent producer in 2015. I was offered a show by Vikas Gupta for & TV. It was a great experience because what I had learnt with Ekta in all those years, I recreated that.

Since 2015, I have produced a short film titled35 mm with Neeraj Kabi and Priyanka Bose. I also did Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai with Amrita Rao, Aditi Vasudev, Deepti Naval, Zarina Wahab, Bhanu Uday, Pallavi Joshi, among others.

Tandoor was an extremely great experience and I would totally give the credit to Vibhu Agarwal from the OTT platform Ullu. He trusted me and pushed me to do it. The last film I directed was Tujhse He Raabta in 2012-2013.

I am someone who watches stuff on the web non-stop. I love an OTT binge! Even if I come back from a shoot, I would watch something for a while.

I hope in five years from now I will be a great director!
