Mohit Baghel passes away at 27

Mohit Baghel, who is popularly known as Chhote Amar Chaudhary from Salman Khan’s Ready, passed away on Saturday (May 23). He was 27 and battling cancer. The news of Mohit’s demise was shared by director Raaj Shaandaliyaa on Twitter. Raaj said, “He is gone too soon. He was undergoing treatment for cancer at the AIIMS hospital in Delhi since six months. I spoke to him last on May 15 and at that time he was okay; he had started recovering. He stayed with his parents and elder brother in Mathura. I learnt about his demise from a common friend.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
