Border was iconic
Border is one movie that always fills me with patriotic fervour. The song Sandese Aate Hai was a rage and the ending, when Sunny Deol marches ahead in the battlefield amongst all the tanks, was iconic. — Ajay Sarkaria
Amazing Uri

I like Shaurya, Lakshya and Border, but my favourite is Uri: The Surgical Strike. It’s amazing the way our Army has been shown in the film and how intelligently they have demonstrated the surgical strikes. Hats off to Aditya Dhar, the director, for conceptualising and executing such a film, and Vicky Kaushal for portraying the protagonist! — Rajniesh Duggall
Raazi rocks
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a film that I am really looking forward to. As for films around our Forces, I would pick one that showed the unseen face of unsung heroes — our spies. Raazi filled me with awe, the sheer storyline and how it was presented. The film’s song Ae Watan gives me literal goose-bumps. — Shiwani Saini
True dedication
If I have to pick one, I would choose State of Siege: 26/11 as my favourite. Not because I was part of this web series, but this stint introduced me to the National Security Guard (NSG). To get into NSG, not only does one have to be a part of Indian Armed Forces, but the benchmark is even higher for this limited tenure service. It’s the golden period in a soldier’s life wherein he’s the fittest and highly disciplined. State of Siege is a tribute to NSG. — Karan Singh Chhabra
Befitting tribute
Two of my favourite movies based on Indian Army are Lakshya and LOC: Kargil. I have seen Lakshya multiple times, as I like the characters played by Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan. Preity’s is a powerfully etched character — that of a women reporter in the war zone. Hrithik’s character – his finally becoming an officer, mission to capture the peak and how his life changes — is moving too. Even the music was lovely; my favourite is Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe — a befitting tribute to our fearless soldiers. — Ihana Dhillon
