Considering the current situation, do you think it is a wise decision to resume shoots?

I am glad that shoots are resuming. It is time we got back on track. However, it is important that at an individual level we all take extra precautions and follow all guidelines. We have to embrace this new normal.

You have replaced Puja Banerjee. Are you worried about the audience’s acceptance?

We all respect the decision taken by Puja Banerjee to spend more time with her family. Yes, when you come as a replacement for someone, it takes time for the audience to accept you, but I hope I do justice to my role and the viewers appreciate it.

What precautions are being taken on the sets?

We have started shooting again following the guidelines set by the government. We are adhering to the system of social distancing when we are not shooting. The entire set is sanitised regularly. People have been wearing masks, applying sanitizers. Regular temperature check is also done before you enter the sets. The makeup artists are fully covered with PPE kits.

What new things did you learn during quarantine?

I have learnt the importance of relationships. This lockdown has taught me who my real people are.

What changes do you see in yourself post Covid?

My thought process has changed. My outlook towards quality of life has also changed. I have started to value people more than before.

What advice would you give to people to stay safe?

I would urge people to stay indoors and not move out unnecessarily. We all need to take precautions at every level. I would recommend people to up their intake of Vitamin C, eat healthy food to maintain a good immune system.
