Kareena rocks

At the grand finale of the five-day Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020, Kareena Kapoor Khan walked the ramp for designer Amit Aggarwal. The actress looked beautiful in a bright green shimmery, off-shoulder gown with a deep plunging neckline and a trail. This year, the fashion week has completed two decades in India and Kareena has been a part of it for the last 11 years.

Athiya, Ileana shine

Starting the show for designer Mrunalini Rao was Athiya Shetty, who walked the ramp in an ornate, off-white, godet skirt, accentuated by poppy yellow inserts with silver zardosi blooms. A fuchsia pink blouse with a sultry centre cut and a scalloped hemline was stylishly teamed with the skirt as well as a printed, sheer yellow dupatta. Ileana D’Cruz closed this show in an ultra-feminine blouse detailed with eye-catchy, silver lotus motifs. The diaphanous lehenga had a mix of sequinned chevrons and floral embellishments.

Regal flavour

For a show-stopping entry at Deepa Goel’s show, mesmerising Bollywood beauty Rhea Chakraborty glided down the ramp in a regal monochromatic lehenga with alternating floral and chevron embellishments. An alluring off-shoulder blouse and a sheer dupatta with a lustrous trim completed the look.
