The upcoming episode of Inventing Tomorrow on CNN will feature host Kristie Lu Stout examine how technology is helping the travel and tourism industry bounce back after being hit hard during the pandemic. The 30 minutes special will be aired on Sunday, November 15, at 11:30 am and 11:00 pm on CNN. Inventing Tomorrow also examines how new inventions will help travellers. Donut Robotics’ C-mask is one such example — a smart face mask that can translate Japanese into eight different languages.

And while travelling to many places is almost impossible, there is still an opportunity to virtually visit different parts of the world. Amit Sood, director of the Google Cultural Institute, will talk to Lu Stout about his Wonders of India initiative, which uses 3-D footage to bring the country to life.
