Jalandhar-girl Fida Gill has spent her childhood at various places in India as her father served in the Army as a doctor. Fascinated with cinema, she used to visit theatres inside the Army campus frequently. Studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya in Ladakh, J&K, Uttarakhand and Punjab, exposed to different cultures and traditions, her resolve to depict those on screen grew stronger with time.

Fida started her career with Punjabi music videos and commercials. She bagged a Tollywood movie Kalpitham, which is all set for a release. Currently, Fida is shooting for a web series.

Diljit Dosanjh. His dressing style and charisma are simply wow.

I love romantic destinations, so my topmost preference would be Venice. But I wouldn’t mind Paris or Switzerland.

Favourite hangout place in Jalandhar?

I don’t have a single favourite place. However, Casa Bella Vista in Sector 10, Chandigarh, is my favourite place for Italian cuisine.

If not an actor, then…

I would have been in the event management business.

What turns you off?

Anything or anybody that makes my parents sad turns me off.

Fitness for you…

I am a foodie and eat almost everything. So, I burn those extra calories by doing yoga or going the gym or working out at home twice a day.
