After winning hearts as Shivani Shivaji Rao in Mardaani, Rani Mukerji is back as the fierce cop in the film’s sequel — Mardaani 2. Makers of Mardaani 2 released the trailer of the film on Thursday and we can surely say that it has blockbuster written all over it! While Mardaani was based on the subject of human trafficking, Mardaani 2 deals with the issue of rapes in India.

While Tahir Raj Bhasin locked horns with Rani in Mardaani, it will be interesting to see who will play the villain in Mardaani 2. The movie marks the directorial debut of Gopi Puthran and is scheduled to release on December 13. Besides Rani Mukerji, Mardaani 2 stars Sudhanshu Pandey, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Shruti Bapna and others.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
