July 7: Monsters at Work on Disney Hotstar
This animated series follows the story of Tylor Tuskmon, an eager young monster who graduated top of his class at Monsters University and always dreamed of becoming a Scarer until he lands a job at Monsters, Incorporated, and discovers that scaring is out and laughter is in. After Tylor is temporarily reassigned to the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT), he must work alongside a misfit bunch of mechanics while setting his sights on becoming a Jokester.
July 9: Collar Bomb on Disney Hotstar
The film revolves around cop Manoj Hesi (Jimmy Sheirgill), who is forced to commit a series of heinous crimes before a suicide bomber blows up a school. As he races against time to complete this scavenger hunt from hell, the idyllic town around him descends to madness, confronted by an evil that seems to have no other objective than to strike raw, primal terror.
July 9: State of Siege: Temple Attack on Zee5
Based on the 2002 terrorist attack on Akshardham Temple in Gujarat, State of Siege: Temple Attack is a follow-up to State of Siege: 26/11, a mini-series that revolved around the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film stars Akshaye Khanna among others.
July 9: The Water Man on Netflix
Gunner (Lonnie Chavis) sets out on a quest to save his ill mother (Rosario Dawson) by searching for a mythic figure that possesses the secret to immortality, the Water Man. After enlisting the help of a local girl, Jo (Amiah Miller), they journey together into the remote Wild Horse Forestbut. The deeper they venture, the stranger the forest becomes.
July 9: Fear Street Part 2: 1978 on Netflix
Trilogy logline: In 1994, a group of teenagers discover the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected and they may be the next targets. Based on R.L. Stine’s best-selling horror series Fear Street follows Shadyside’s sinister history through a nightmare 300 years in the making.
