Singer Shahzeb Tejani making waves

Shahzeb Tejani, a singer, composer and lyricist born in Houston, Texas, has released multiple songs in collaboration with Zee Music Company. Inspired by legends like Mohammed Rafi, KK and Sonu Nigam, Shahzeb developed a love for Bollywood music ring his childhood. “These are the singers who were my inspiration and I took up music due to them,” he shared.

Shahzeb began performing at family events during his time at Houston College of Architecture, eventually gaining recognition on platforms like YouTube and Instagram. His talent was soon recognised. Shahzeb debuted in 2019 with the song Apna Bana Le Na, under Zee Music Company. In 2022, he collaborated with Abhijeet Sawant, the first winner of Indian Idol, on the song Tera Rishta. In 2023, Shahzeb released his debut album, Bin Kahe, and in 2024 released his first English single, Until You’re Mine.

“There is a long way for me to go yet and I am looking towards the future with much optimism,” he beamed. Shahzeb recently took the stage in Dallas, Texas, for the final stop of Yanchan’s USA tour. They delivered an electrifying performance on their collaborative track, Teri Yaad, featured on Shahzeb’s debut album, Bin Kahe, which was released in 2023.
