Sushant Singh Rajput case: Rhea Chakraborty clears her stance

Rhea Chakraborty has been at the receiving end ever since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away. However, the actress has answered all questions surrounding Sushant’s case during an interview with a television channel.

In his FIR, Sushant’s father KK Singh had accused Rhea of siphoning off Rs 15 crore from his son’s bank account. To this, Rhea said, “Where is that Rs 15 crore? Mumbai Police and ED have investigated and nothing has been found in my accounts.” The actress even denied reports of Sushant purchasing a flat for her in Khar, Mumbai, “I bought that flat before I met Sushant and its on loan. The EMI is of Rs. 17,000 a month, which I won’t be able to pay anymore because Sushant’s family has tarnished my life.”

Anxiety attacks

Talking about her relationship with Mahesh Bhatt, Rhea stated that he was like a father figure to her and rubbished claims of any other relation between the two. Rhea said she was also suffering from anxiety attacks for the past few months and that’s why she had reached out to Bhatt. According to her, the filmmaker had advised, “Be strong; think about your father before taking any steps.” The chats between Rhea and Bhatt were leaked on social media.

Rhea also claimed she did not know Aaditya Thackeray. She neither had his number nor met the politician ever. In fact, she said she never wanted to leave Sushant on June 8, but it was Sushant who insisted she left the house before his sister arrived.

No drugs

As for drugs, Rhea said she had never taken any. “It is unfortunate that we have to speak about someone’s vices when they are no more. Yes, Sushant smoked marijuana and he used to do it before we met. In fact, I tried to stop him. But he would do what he liked.”

Further replying to Bollywood’s role in SSR’s case, Rhea said, “I feel the MeToo allegations are what built the pressure, as Sanjana Sanghi took more than a month to clear the reports. He believed someone was behind it. He used to refer to the people as ‘them’.”

Rhea added, “I have thought about suicide. Or someone should just shoot us. We are middle-class people, respect is everything for us, and we have nothing left now. I am sorry and regret the joke a human life has been made of.”

CBI prepares list of 20 questions

Rhea Chakraborty for the first time on Friday appeared before CBI’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The Central Bureau of Investigation team after examining several other accused in the case has prepared a list of questions that it seeks answers from Rhea. A source said the list contains more than 20 questions. IANS

A video showing actress Rhea Chakraborty snapping at mediapersons who tried to click her photos has gone viral. In the video, an angry Rhea bangs on the car’s window pane with her elbow. She makes the gesture at the window, even as a mediaperson tries to capture her in a frame. The incident happened on Friday as she was on her way for CBI questioning in connection with the death of her Sushant Singh Rajput. IANS
