A special show, titled Inventing Tomorrow: Tech in a Time of Pandemic, will be aired on CNN in which Kristie Lu Stout will meet entrepreneurs and experts developing innovative ways to combat the pandemic crisis. This 30-minute special will telecast on May 9 at 10.30am, May 10 at 9am and May 11 at 7.30am, only on CNN International.

The show delves into the technology and implications of contact tracing, 3D printing and how we are navigating the world virtually – as well as how it will impact and change the way we live.

In this show, the channel explores different ways countries are contact tracing, and discusses its effectiveness as well as the implications for our privacy with Tufts University’s professor Susan Landau.

Lu Stout also speaks with Google’s chief health officer, Dr Karen DeSalvo, about the critical role of technology during this time.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
