At the age of 12, Daman set foot on stage at a cousin’s wedding in England where he sang a song with UK-based Punjabi singer Angrej Ali. For past two years, he has been training under Daler Ali in Jalandhar and cites early childhood influences of Manmohan Waris, Jasbir Jassi and Gurpreet Ghuggi, friends of his father, as the ones who motivated him to take up singing as a full-time career option.

A batch-mate of singer Gurnam Bhullar, he has studied commerce from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. Daman gets candid.
