Love happens when it has to and Yamini Malhotra is in no hurry. The Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin actress is often asked about why she is not seeing anyone, as people expect someone as beautiful and independent as she is to be committed. “I am single because I am yet to find someone. It is as simple as that. Don’t know why everybody thinks I should be committed by now. No one is ready to believe that I can be single. Such things do not happen just like that. And, I am not consciously staying single. Mera wala shayad kahin kho gaya hai. The search is on though, probably I will meet him sometime soon,” she says.

About the kind of guy she would like to date, Yamini shares, “My kind of guy would be six-feet tall, fairly handsome, well-educated; most likely a corporate guy. He should be intelligent and super-caring, but he should be a good human being above everything else. While she has never dated an actor, Yamini adds, “I would prefer a corporate guy instead. I think two actors together will only talk about auditions, roles, filmy gossip and then fashion, gym and beauty. I want someone from a different profession, where I see and learn about another world through his eyes.”
