Full of thrill

The movie is really awesome. It is better than its prequels. The songs in the movie are very few and only one dance number. The action sequence is really thrilling. — Divas Anand, student

Mind-blowing action

The action in the movie is thrilling and enjoyable. I really liked the film and everyone’s acting. Ritesh Deshmukh’s character in the last scene is mind blowing. Really loved it. — Vansh Puri, student

Not so good

I did not enjoy the movie as much and isn’t a movie that should be watched in the theatres. It is illogical and has action sequences which are not required. You can also say it’s a more of young-people movie. — Col. Amandeep Singh Tiwana, ex-serviceman (Army)

Onward

Onward is a computer-animated urban fantasy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. The film is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae. It is based on a screenplay written by Scanlon, Jason Headley and Keith Bunin, and stars the voices of Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.

Set in a fantastical world, where the populace once had magic, two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, receive a wizard’s staff as a pre-arranged gift from their father, who died before the birth of Ian. The staff came with a spell that will bring him back for only 24 hours, so his sons can meet him. Prompted by Barley, Ian uses the spell, only to end up with just his father’s legs. This causes the brothers to go on a quest for a way to bring back the rest of their father before the time is up.

It’s a good watch

It is a very nice and funny movie. I loved the story and all its characters. I would recommend other people to watch it. — Samarveer (9), Little Flowers Convent School

Barley is so funny

I really like the movie. It is now one of my favourites. My favourite character in the movie is Barley because he is very funny. — Anya Kaushik (12), Strawberry Fields

—As told to Shraddha Solanki
