Notably, the accused had killed Jagdev by hitting a cement plate on his head.

The police said Jagdev had given Rs 1,000 to the mother of the accused Sarabjit and the latter had not been returning the money. Recently, Jagdev abused Sarabjit’s mother when she failed to return the money and when Sarabjit came to know about it, he decided to eliminate Jagdev.
