The Physical Education Department (PED) of Khalsa College for Women (KCW) organised a self-defence workshop under Mission Shakti. In which over 50 students from several institutions participated.

The 10-day workshop aimed at empowering students with skills to handle real-life threats. The participants learnt techniques, including situational awareness, and escape strategies. Trainers emphasised the importance of mental strength and decision-making in high-stress scenarios.

On the concluding day, a demonstration was presented by participants, showcasing their newly acquired skills.

Principal Kamaljit Grewal said such programmes were crucial in building confidence and thanked Dr Mandeep Kaur, and Narinder Kumar for their efforts.
