Surjit said when Sarvjit Kaur came to see her parents, she found them unconscious on September 29.

The investigation revealed that two suspects riding a grey Honda Activa reached the house. They sedated the couple by making them inhale something and then stole items from the house.

He said a CCTV camera footage had also surfaced. The police have registered a case against the scooter-borne miscreants under various sections. The police said the culprits would be arrested soon.
