The Salem Tabri police have registered a case under various sections of the Tobacco Act, 2003, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against Honey Arora, owner of D Red Door, an eatery at the Jalandhar bypass here, and Brijesh Kumar, manager, for serving flavoured hookah to customers.

The police took action against the restaurant on Saturday. The owner is absconding. Meanwhile, the police have seized two hookahs, two pipes and two flavours from the restaurant.
