Two convicts came for a medical check-up at the Civil Hospital tried to escape by dodging police personnel but the latter chased them in the hospital only.

According to information, on Wednesday, ASI Paramjit Singh from the Dharmpura police post had come to get the medical done of the two prisoners, Khushkaran and Harcharan. They dodged the police officials and ran away. Fortunately, the police chased them before they could leave the hospital.

Investigating officer ASI Paramjeet Singh said the two convicts had tried to escape but they were caught on the spot. Both of them were convicted in snatching cases.
