20 people rescued after tempo carrying devotees falls into canal near Mandi Ahmedgarh

A tempo carrying around two dozen devotees, who were returning from the Naina Devi temple, fell into the Sirhind canal near Mandi Ahmedgarh on Sunday night.

Twenty people have been rescued while efforts are being made to search others.

DC Himanshu Jain and Khanna SSP Jyoti Yadav said almost all people have been rescued but the rescue operation will continue.
