Senior functionaries of the Departments of Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Cooperative, Industry and Animal Husbandry highlighted details of various social welfare schemes besides resolving complaints received from visitors during the camp.

Changing of particulars in Aadhaar cards, mutation in case of registered deeds, widow and old age pension, economically weaker section certificate, issuance of residence certificate and issuance of new smart card, were among most sought services during the camp.

DC Pallavi said special camps were held at public places at various villages falling under all the three subdivisions of the district. Lambardars and social activists were seen acting as a bridge between the beneficiaries and government personnel. The organisers said complaints received during the camps were either redressed on the spot or a process for the same was initiated today.
