A 23-year-old healthcare worker, Jaspreet Singh, alias Jass, allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself at a private clinic in Machhiwara here on Thursday night. His colleagues rushed him to a hospital but he was declared dead by doctor.

According to sources, Jaspreet left a suicide note, stating he was fed up with life. The police initiated proceedings and started investigating the matter.

After getting information, SHO, Machhiwara, inspector Pavitar Singh, reached the spot and started a probe.

In the suicide note left by the victim, he had stated that he did not want to live any more as he was bored with his life, due to which he was taking the extreme step, and nobody was responsible for his death. He had also asked for forgiveness from his father as he failed to become an able person.
