Three minor girls went missing from Khanna under mysterious circumstances. The victims gone missing from their homes on May 25 and could not be traced. The missing girls are aged 8, 11 and 13 years. On receiving a complaint in the case, the police registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace them.

According to information, family members of the girls were away from home for work. When they returned in the evening, the three girls were found missing at home. After searching, the family lodged a complaint at the Khanna City-2 police station.

SSP Jyoti Yadav formed special teams, including one of police station, CIA staff, special branch. The technical cell were deployed for investigation. DSP Amritpal Singh Bhatti told mediapersons that a case was registered against unidentified persons who might have taken the girls and that CCTV cameras were being scanned.
