Ophthalmic surgeons, led by Dr Puja Gupta, implanted intraocular lenses in 350 patients for restoring their vision. These patients were identified during an eye check-up camp held recently at Bajrang Akhara here.

The implantations were conducted at a newly set-up eye operation theatre which was inaugurated by the chairman of Shreyans Industries Limited, Rajnish Oswal.

D K Goyal, convener of the project, said 350 patients were identified for the procedure after screening about 800 persons during the 47th five-day eye camp that was conducted in memory of the former chairman of the firm. The event was inaugurated by Amargarh legislator Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra, while Arshia Oswal, AGM of the firm, was the chief guest.
